Tinkering

This page showcases a small collection of experiments with different materials to explore concepts related to biological and artificial life.

Makers in Residency @ Center Rog (2025)

During a Makers in Residency at Center Rog, Ljubljana, I used 3D printers, laser cutters, 3D modelling software and 3D scanners to prototype numerous designs for a larger work , currently in development.

PCB Business Cards (2018)

Inspired by a Biohack Academy workshop, I designed business cards on functional printed circuit boards (PCB).

This PCB was created during the Masters of Biological Arts at SymbioticA, University of Western Australia.

The Amazing Aquatic-Bots! (2018)

This satirical piece uses the Sea Monkey rhetoric to provoke questions about the distinctions between biological life and artificial life.

Myoblast Timelapse (2018)

This project arose from a curiosity of the mechanics of biological movement, so I could apply these to the movement of humanoid robots. I conducted a 48 hour timelapse of C2C12 mouse myoblasts. This was created at SymbioticA, The University of Western Australia, with thanks to Guy Ben-Ary for his mentorship.
